LCD (Trim Pot)
Presence of LCD is an attractive feature of iwatch Access Control Panel. LCD can be connected to Control Panel with the help of a flat cable. The LCD is used to display Greeting Message or any important Instruction to users. An additional feature is provided on the iWatch Access Control Panel and that is the presence of Trim Pot. The Trim Pot is used to Increase or decrease the Display intensity. It regulates the intensity of light emitting from the LCD. It helps in a better visibility of Message displayed on the LCD with respect to the surrounding environmental condition. It is mounted on the margin of Panel near the Relay number 3. It can be easily adjusted with the help of a small screwdriver.
Fig: Trim Pot
Trim Pot is a small Semiconductor which is basically a variable Resistor or Capacitor and may need to be adjusted when the equipment is serviced. Unlike many other variable controls, trimmers are mounted directly on circuit boards, turned with a small screwdriver and are very easy to handle.

Thanks a lot for your appreciation. I will keep on posting such type of informative blogs. I think that you are intrested in Semiconductors, wait for few days, I will be posting detailed information about some other vital semiconductors on Printed Circuit Board which are used in security systems.
Andy: Yeah, I will be posting more supplemented blog on LCD (Trim Pot), Thanks for encouraging me.
Cheers for iWatch Technical Team (Carl Dawson, Andy Smith, Vince Brown and Me-Ron Gibson)
